Customer data not showing in Help Scout?

If you've completed all the steps for installation and setup of Help Scout For Blesta plugin, and do not see customer data in Help Scout...

Are you viewing a Blesta customer?

Customer data will only display in Help Scout for customers from the Blesta system. If the message you are viewing is not yet a customer, you will not see data or get a "customer not found" status.

Testing Steps:

  1. Visit the Help Scout mailbox
  2. Click on a conversation from a customer
  3. Blesta customer data will display in the right sidebar.

Is the plugin enabled?

It must be exact. Check Blesta to make sure the plugin is installed and enabled.

Check the callback URL

It must be exact. Copy the callback URL from the plugin in Blesta and paste it into your custom app in Help Scout.

Check the secret key

Copy the secret key from the plugin in Blesta and paste it into your custom app in Help Scout.

Is this mailbox included in your settings?

Under the Help Scout custom app settings there's a spot to include or exclude mailboxes. Make sure the mailbox you are viewing is checked.
