All you need to do is activate automatic updating.
Visit the plugin settings page and turn on automatic updating under Standard options.
Use the Right Format
This plugin detects a copyright year in the footer to automatically update it to the current year based on a visitor’s location.
For example:
© 2022
Copyright 2022
© Copyright 2022
Do not place words such as your company name between copyright and year.
Years Range
Dynamic Copyright Year will update the most recent year in a range. It must be formatted this way to work:
© YYYY - YYYY
Copyright YYYY - YYYY
© Copyright YYYY - YYYY
It works with or without a space between the “©” and year, or year and “-“.
It will not work with “to” instead of a dash.
Testing

It does not work on years prior to 2000.
Refresh your browser to view changes.
Automatic cache clearing helps saved plugin edits take effect on most websites. Page cache is automatically cleared sitewide each time settings are saved. If you do not see changes take effect after refreshing your browser, clear page cache manually.
